The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Scaffold Maintenance Coordinator to lead and oversee a team responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality scaffold maintenance services in alignment with both Client and Company standards. This role demands strong leadership capabilities, technical proficiency, and a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
Operating on a Drive-In/Drive-Out (DIDO) basis, this permanent position is based in the WA Southwest region and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate prework activities, crew composition, competencies, and equipment readiness
- Authorise scaffold work commencement and ensure effective execution
- Lead and manage scaffolding teams, providing day-to-day direction and support
- Plan and schedule workloads, including development of scaffold work packs and designs
- Ensure all activities meet safety, quality, and project scope requirements
- Act as subject matter expert for scaffolding VOCs and support training initiatives
- Drive HSEQ compliance through leadership, audits, and safety meetings
- Initiate and manage Event and Change Management processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and job owners to coordinate work packages
- Promote a positive team culture aligned with company values
About You
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Construction White Card
- Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification
- Current Statutory Supervisor Schedule 26 or working towards
- Valid high‐risk work licence with accompanying VOC
- Working at Heights Certificate (valid)
- Enter and Work in Confined Space Certificate (valid)
- Gas Test Atmosphere Qualification (valid)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role within the mining industry
- Prior leadership experience with Tier One mining client
- A proven track record of safety management & a strong awareness of and commitment to a safe working culture
