Overview
Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Assistant from experienced and innovative candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to Christian education. This role requires a high level of administrative capability, and we’re seeking someone with a positive, can-do attitude. Working collaboratively within the Enrolments and Administrative Teams, the successful applicant will have experience in fast-paced, high-demand environments that require focus and exceptional customer service. The position is based across both our Tyabb and Carrum Downs campuses on the Mornington Peninsula.
The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role, by delivering high-quality administrative, student health services, and customer support across all year levels. This role ensures that student information and College records are accurately maintained, securely managed, and compliant with relevant legislation, while contributing to the smooth functioning of daily school administration. Working collaboratively within the Enrolments and Administrative Teams, the Administrative Assistant provides professional and confidential assistance in areas including student enrolments records management, first aid and health administration, enrolment processes, and stakeholder communication. The role is integral to upholding the College’s commitment to excellence in service delivery, operational efficiency, and student wellbeing.

Flinders Christian Community College is a co-educational, non–denominational College with campuses located at Tyabb, Carrum Downs and Mt Martha offering education from Kinder – 12.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality administrative support, student health services, and customer service across all year levels.
- Maintain accurate, secure student information and College records in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide professional and confidential assistance in student enrolments, records management, first aid and health administration, enrolment processes, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with Enrolments and Administrative Teams to support daily school administration and service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in administrative and student health support roles, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environments with a positive, can-do attitude.
