Position Overview:
As a Senior Talent Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping PlaySide’s hiring strategy and execution. You’ll not only manage end-to-end recruitment but also lead process improvements, identify opportunities for innovation, and partner closely with senior business leaders-including General Managers and Directors to align talent outcomes with business goals.

This role combines hands-on recruiting expertise with strategic oversight. You’ll use data to inform decisions, drive process efficiency, and elevate PlaySide’s employer brand across global markets.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Strategic Partnership

Navigate and influence senior members of the business such as General Managers, Directors, and Department Leads to align hiring strategies with organisational priorities.

Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing insights on market trends and recruitment best practices.

Partner with leadership to forecast future talent needs and develop proactive sourcing strategies.


- Recruitment Excellence:

Own and manage the full recruitment lifecycle roles across multiple disciplines.

Find, engage, and activate top-tier candidates through headhunting, networking, and creative sourcing strategies.

Drive consistency and excellence across all stages of the recruitment process, ensuring a fair and inclusive experience.

Maintain all recruitment data and ensure accurate reporting across systems and dashboards.


- Process Improvement & Data Management:

Maintain and enhance all recruitment processes and documentation to ensure efficiency and scalability.

Identify issues and opportunities within the recruitment process, proposing and implementing data-driven improvements.

Leverage recruitment analytics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, etc.) to drive strategic decision-making.

Collaboration & Onboarding

Partner with the wider People & Culture team to continuously refine and improve onboarding processes.

Support post-hire initiatives to enhance the new-hire experience and retention outcomes.

Assist in integrating feedback loops between recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.

Employer Branding & Engagement

Champion PlaySide’s employer brand externally through events, campaigns, and partnerships.

Represent PlaySide at industry events, panels, and networking functions.

Mentor and support Talent team members to uplift overall recruitment capability across the business.


Specific Attributes, Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

-Proven success in a senior recruitment or talent partnering role, ideally within the gaming, technology, or creative industries.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders to drive strategic hiring outcomes.
- Strong understanding of recruitment process design and continuous improvement.
- Skilled at managing, interpreting, and presenting recruitment data to guide decision-making.
- Expertise in sourcing and engaging passive candidates across multiple disciplines.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience driving employer branding initiatives and improving candidate experience.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, managing multiple complex roles simultaneously.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment analytics, and talent engagement tools.

Salary Range: $85K – $100K + super
