Great things start here
RACV is an organisation that's broader and bigger than you think – beyond the trusted roadside assistance and insurance lines, and significant portfolio of Travel and Leisure experiences, RACV is also one of the biggest installers of Solar energy in Victoria, and it's a much broader organisation outside of the RACV brand and outside of Victoria with numerous Australian and international subsidiaries and associates. At its core, RACV is the largest member organisation in Victoria, and we're trusted to be there for our over 2 million members.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Talent Partner to join our team and take ownership of our end-to-end recruitment processes.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, playing a critical role in helping us achieve our organisational objectives by identifying, attracting, and securing top talent. You will drive the full recruitment lifecycle, from crafting job advertisements and screening applicants, to facilitating interviews, negotiating offers, and overseeing a smooth onboarding experience for our new starters. As a trusted advisor to hiring managers, you will provide expert guidance and coaching throughout every stage of the hiring process. Significant experience in both active and passive sourcing techniques is essential, along with a strong ability to engage and nurture talent pools aligned to support workforce planning.
Experience with AI-enabled talent platforms and the use of psychometric assessments including administering and interpreting results would be highly advantageous. Above all, you'll be someone who collaborates effectively with hiring managers and P&C Business Partners to influence, guide, and enhance hiring outcomes through data-informed insights and a consultative approach.
Come along for a new journey
You'll be instrumental in ensuring our Talent team deliver exceptional service. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
- Lead the entire recruitment process (drafting and posting advertising campaigns, candidate communication, interviews, assessments, reference checks and offer negotiations), ensuring RACV's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) is well managed.
- Partner with the business to ensure optimal co-ordination with candidates and hiring managers.
- Liaise with People & Culture Business Partners and leaders to understand business needs.
- Proactively search for passive candidates and build sourcing pipelines utilising tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK Talent.
- Provide exceptional candidate engagement and manage onboarding requirements.
- Keep updated with employment relations and other relevant legal and legislative changes.
- Lead key talent projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Streamline recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders.
- Support the talent and employee experience team to facilitate future talent pathways
- Support and coach team members.
- Integrate RACV's IACT values into recruitment processes.
- Analyse and provide reporting to the business on market trends in relation to candidate skillset demand and supply.
- Manage mandatory onboarding legislative requirements such as police check and VEVO check processes (including proactively alerting the P&C Business Partner to any issues).
- Identify opportunities to further streamline and manage the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure simple, user friendly and supportive practices are in place for hiring managers and internal and external applicants.
What you'll need to be successful
- HR or business-related qualification (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years proven track record in full-cycle recruitment, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring (essential)
- Experience implementing or working with a Talent Ai solution (desirable)
- Significant experience with both active and passive candidate sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards)
- Ability to partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines
- Ability to advise on job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate selection
- Experience working within a recruitment agency (desirable)
- Strong track record of collaborating with hiring managers and P&C Business Partners to influence hiring decisions
- Experience administering and interpreting psychometric assessments (desirable)
- Consultative decision-making approach
- Genuine passion for Talent and people-focused service delivery
There's so much on offer when you join RACV with benefits including
- Our flexible and informal work environment which helps bring balance between work and home.
- Generous discounts on home and car insurance policies and RACV roadside care
- Great discounts across all RACV resorts
- Discounts from corporate partners that are updated monthly.
Our difference
At RACV, we believe that maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace is an important element in our continued success. We want our people to feel welcome, supported and appreciated for who they are and what they bring to our business. If you require any reasonable adjustments to the recruitment process and/or the role, please let our Talent Acquisition Team know
.
Application Process
Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and consent to a criminal record check.
