The opportunity
We’re seeking a Risk, Quality & Compliance Manager to join our Newcastle team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Head of Risk & Compliance to drive a strong risk culture, oversee internal processes and procedures, and provide expert advice to the Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage compliance risks across the firm including AML / CTF, AFSL, ACL, CAANZ etc.
2. Provide training and support on risk & compliance matters
3. Monitor incidents, breaches and complaints, and embed controls in collaboration with the Executive Team
4. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards
5. Offer guidance on legislative and regulatory changes that impact the company's compliance obligations
6. Review and approve marketing materials and other external communications to ensure legal and regulatory compliance
Key Requirements:
1. Tertiary degree qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance, or related field
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Compliance-based position in the financial services industry
3. Experience with AML/CTF, AFSL and ACL licensing requirements, highly regarded
4. Experience with working with ASIC, highly regarded
