We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced **Quality, Systems and Accreditation Coordinator** Supported Employment Services responsible for implementation of audit and accreditation processes. In this hands-on role, you will partner with Business Managers to maintain compliance and accreditation standards and continuity of service to our NDIS and commercial customers. This will relate to compliance, regulatory governance, policy and practice, and preparation for audit and accreditation activities.
**About the role**
- Ensuring Quality, Audit and Accreditation activities are planned collaboratively and communicated to managers, employees, customers and their families and/or guardians
- Champion the implementation of new quality and accreditation systems, by positively influencing the effective utilisation of existing systems and the impact on Aruma’s strategic focus.
- Manage organisational and individual risk by identifying current and emerging issues or trends, through strong governance and quality across standards, safeguards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure employee are supported to effectively operate systems adhering to correct practices, such as incident reporting, recording according to NDIS/C requirements and setting actions to address identified gaps and risks.
- Manage reports for the General Manager/ representing the progress of projects, strategic focuses, or other reportable activities relevant to quality and accreditation.
**Skills and experience that make you stand out **
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of NDISC standards and accreditation process or willingness to learn
- Tertiary qualified - Quality management certification; and/or Risk management certification; and/or Auditor qualifications
- Relevant field with 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of standards and accreditation processes for services provided to adults or willingness to learn
- A detailed understanding or willingness to learn about the National Disability Insurance Scheme, the NDIS Practice Standards, the Quality Indicators and a comprehensive understanding of the Reportable Incidents Scheme
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise workload, handle multiple tasks and work efficiently and effectively to deadlines and respond to multiple and diverse stakeholders
