We are seeking a **Risk and Audit Coordinator** to join our Risk and Internal Audit team within the Business Services and Assurance division.

- 2 days per week (flexible days)
- Base salary of up to $78, 714 (pro rata) plus Superannuation

**The Opportunity**

As the **Risk and Audit Coordinator** you will be the link between our internal audit and risk functions and the broader business. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role that involves working with teams across Hunter Water to deliver meaningful insights, ensure audit actions stay on track, and make sure quality information gets to the right people at the right time.
**What you'll do**:
- Supporting the delivery of the Internal Audit Plan by coordinating audits and tracking progress
- Liaising with internal teams and external providers to keep audit activity on track
- Tracking and coordinating the closure of internal audit actions using Protecht
- Keeping risk and audit data up-to-date, helping prepare reports and dashboards
- Assisting with monitoring spend and managing invoicing for the internal audit program
- Ensuring strong recordkeeping and admin support across all risk and audit activities
**What you'll need to be successful**:
**Essential Criteria**:
- Strong coordination and admin experience with a knack for managing details
- Comfortable working with data and business systems to get things done efficiently
- Proficient in MS Office and document management tools
- Great communication skills - you’re approachable, responsive and clear
- Able to work autonomously, juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Discreet and professional - you handle sensitive information with care
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Experience in internal audit, risk, or working with business management systems
- Knowledge of tools like SharePoint, Protecht, or similar software
