ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Team Leader Domestic and Family Violence, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated multidisciplinary team delivering critical services to people. Based in Wodonga, this leadership role supports the Program Manager in ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality operations across our Domestic and Family Violence Program services.
Leading up to 10 client-focussed team members, you will be performing all the people leader fundamentals. Within the Domestic and Family Violence Program, you will look after the following teams:
- Family Violence Case Managers
- Men’s Behaviour Change Case Managers/Facilitators
You will be working closely with the Program Manager Domestic and Family Violence and be joining a broader leadership team who are supportive, inclusive and encouraging, who love sharing their ideas and work closely and collaboratively.
ABOUT YOU
You have a strong understanding of family violence, including intersectionality and gendered analysis. You are an experienced leader with a strong background in health, welfare, or community services. You thrive in providing leadership, direction and support to a multidisciplinary team overseeing daily operations, ensuring best practice service delivery, managing risk whilst evoking a positive team culture with outstanding professional qualities.
You bring:
- Degree or above qualification in social work, psychology, behavioural or social sciences (or equivalent).
- Minimum three (3) years’ leadership experience in the community, health or welfare sector and experience in the Domestic and Family Violence sector.
- Specialist expertise in, and demonstrated experience of, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Knowledge of key legislative and policy frameworks and theoretical models and practice relevant to family violence, both victim-survivors and perpetrator accountability frameworks.

Community Health Centre (Stand Alone Services) Social and Community Service Employees Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022
Classification – SACS Employee Level 6 - $55.72 - $56.95 + superannuation
