Are you a detail-oriented HR professional with a passion for compliance, data integrity, and workforce governance? Churches of Christ is seeking a Senior Visa & Compliance Coordinator to join our People & Culture team on a 12-month contract.

We're looking for a Senior Visa & Compliance Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month contract. This is a pivotal role where your expertise in compliance, reporting, and leadership will help keep our organisation running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

- Serve as the subject matter expert onwork rights compliance and visa management.
- Oversee personal history checks to ensure alignment with regulatory and safety standards.
- Lead and support a small team, providing clear direction and effective delegation.
- Manage and analyse large volumes of data to generate actionable insights.
- Develop and deliver complex reports using Excel and Power BI to inform strategic decisions.

What you will bring

- In-depth knowledge of the Australian visa system and work rights legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance processes and employee onboarding.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a collaborative and organised approach.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI, including dashboards and data visualisation.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for working with high-volume data.
- Experience in Community Services or Aged Care is highly regarded.
