The role of Senior HR Coordinator - Visas & Compliance is a crucial position within the organisation, requiring a high level of expertise in compliance, reporting, and leadership.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR professional who can effectively manage work rights compliance and visa management across the organisation. The ideal candidate will thrive on precision, love working with well-organised spreadsheets, and take genuine satisfaction in maintaining compliance at a high standard.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of personal history checks to meet regulatory standards.
- Leading and supporting a small team, providing guidance and delegating tasks effectively.
- Managing large volumes of data, transforming it into actionable insights.
- Creating and delivering complex reports using Excel and Power BI to support strategic decision-making.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A solid understanding of the Australian visa system and work rights legislation.
- Proven experience in compliance checks and employee onboarding.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and delegate effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI – including confidence with formulas, dashboards, and data storytelling.
- A keen eye for detail and a love for working with high-volume data.
- Bonus points if you have worked in Community Services or Aged Care.
