Job Description

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to achieve financial targets.
- Manage payroll processes and ensure timely payments.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accountant should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA/CA Qualified or working towards it.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
