Eagers Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant, based in Wangara, to support day-to-day accounting tasks for multiple dealerships across the State.
This hands-on role is perfect for someone looking to grow their accounting career in the automotive industry while working closely with a collaborative, experienced team of accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit monthly BAS returns in line with ATO requirements.
- Support dealership cash flow through daily account maintenance and precise ledger accuracy.
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, including processing additions and disposals.
- Investigate and resolve financial queries raised by dealership management.
- Work alongside senior accountants on month-end close, reporting tasks, and ad-hoc financial projects.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
