About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and operational excellence of the organisation. This position is designed for a seasoned strategy specialist who thrives on driving system-wide growth and innovation.

You will lead and manage the development, design, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of organisational strategies, ensuring alignment with BCE's Vision, Mission, and Values. By leveraging industry best practices, you will build strong partnerships across the organisation, providing expert consultancy and advice.

Your role will involve in-depth research and analysis of organisational data to develop evidence-based strategies and long-term scenario modelling, which will contribute to the overall success and sustainability of our educational and faith-based mission.

About the person

You will be a highly skilled professional with previous experience in an in-house strategy team or top-tier consulting firm. You will have experience working within community focussed industries that have high levels of regulation e.g. aged care, not-for-profit, government, or education.

In addition to this, you will have:

- Outstanding communication, facilitation and storytelling skills;
- Strong grasp of strategic frameworks, problem-solving, and project management and an experience in designing and implementing comprehensive corporate plans;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear, practical insights;
- Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders with credibility;
- A team mindset where you work across boundaries and bring people with you;
- Experience leading a team and supporting continuous improvement; and
- Degree in Business or related field; MBA highly regarded.
