Coordinator ATSO Training Services (Clerk Grade 7/8)
We are excited to announce an opening for a Coordinator ATSO Training Services in the Assisted School Travel Program, Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate.
Location: Wollongong with access to flexible working arrangements available
Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8 base salary ranging from $113,574 to $125,720 per annum, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Work type: Ongoing full‑time opportunity

About the Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate
The Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of state‑wide services and specialist programs to support student engagement and opportunities including Arts, Sport, Community Languages and International programs.
The Child Wellbeing and Mental Health Services team focuses on the delivery of student support services including support for students in the areas of child protection, mental health, wellbeing and complex needs.
The Assisted School Travel Program provides transportation services for students with additional needs from home to school and back to ensure all students are able to access education in NSW public schools.
Student opportunities across all areas are enhanced through partnerships with industry specialists and stakeholders.
About the role
The Coordinator, ATSO Training Services delivers training programs for Assisted Travel Support Officers (ATSOs) and other stakeholders to support the effective and safe delivery of services by ATSOs.

Essential requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Current driver’s licence
