The successful candidate will spend the majority of the time working from our head office in Port Melbourne, however eventual trips to job sites around Melbourne may be necessary. As a contracts administrator, you will be responsible for: - In-depth understanding of the projects and customers’ needs. - Assess, approve and negotiate contracts and contract terms. - Create budgets, issue purchase orders and approve suppliers’ invoices. - Manage project finances, tasks and timelines. - Complete weekly project reports and project forecasting. - Assist the (Operations Manager/Project Manager/Site Foreman) to manage project details including program, schedules, deliverables and resources. - Liaise with clients, consultants, trades and suppliers. To be considered, you will possess the following skills and experience - Construction Management or Quantity Surveying Degree, Diploma level or building trade background or suitable experience in a similar role. - Possess a high level of computer literacy – including proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Project. - Experience in Contract Administration. - Proficient in project planning, drawings knowledge and document management. - Financial planning and budgeting skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Full Drivers Licence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
