The ability to move between clinical and administrative functions several times during the working day is essential.
Training in microscopy and phlebotomy would be an advantage; however training for this post will be provided if necessary. Shift patterns may vary from week to week and may include evening work. Ability to travel between various Trust locations is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills, experience of working on computer systems, an accomplished telephone manner and good communication skills are essential to the role. A thorough understanding of confidentiality within a sexual health service must be demonstrated. NHS experience is desired.
Working pattern to be confirmed but the position is required to cover clinics within NISHH that are provided Monday–Saturday between hours of 7.45am and 8pm. The post will be based at Northampton General Hospital. The ability to travel to other locations where our clinics are held may be required.
