About Our Client
Our client is a true market leader offering a supportive and professional work environment. They are currently looking for a Procurement Data Entry Officer to join their team on a contract basis. The role is based at Eight Mile Plains, with the option to work from home up to two days per week.
Job Description
In this role, you'll help the procurement team by entering and managing important data. You'll make sure purchase orders, vendor details, and pricing information are accurate and up to date. You'll also help with invoices, reports, and keeping records organized.
Your day to day tasks will include:
- Entering procurement data into systems.
- Keeping records and contracts organised and current.
- Helping process invoices and check pricing and delivery details.
- Creating reports on purchases and vendor performance.
- Communicating with vendors to fix any issues.
- Working closely with other teams like finance and procurement.
- Providing general admin support to the procurement team.
The Successful Applicant
To do well in this role, you'll need:
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or data entry.
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using procurement or ERP systems (like ServiceNow, D365, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- A team focused attitude and willingness to ask questions when unsure.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
