We are seeking a professional and dedicated Full-Time Office Administrator with a broad range of general administrative skills, including accounts, payroll, and data entry. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in these areas and will play a key role in supporting the operations of our clinics.

The position is based at our Administration Office in Cairns (off-site from the clinics); however, the successful applicant will be required to travel to Townsville initially (expenses paid) to gain a comprehensive understanding of clinic operations for future support duties.

Details of the position/requirements are as follows:

Minimum / essential:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Basic working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
  • Basic accounts experience, with preference for experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks
  • Accurate typing skills, strong numeracy, good time management, ability to meet deadlines, high attention to detail / accuracy, and active listening attributes
  • Ability to confidentially analyse and follow up information, answer queries, and resolve problems with maturity, including providing basic HR support
  • Ability to take direction while also be able to work autonomously
  • Current Drivers' licence and the ability to drive company automatic vehicles

You will be given a variety of work tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Roster data entry
  • Data entry accounts / payroll
  • Collating paperwork for payroll and data entry
  • Third- party documentation processing / follow up
  • Site stock orders / equipment Maintenance matters / follow up
  • Ongoing close liaison with Management, Practice Manager and Team Leaders at clinics
  • Preparing various reports
  • Remote site access, for administration and processing purposes
  • Attending meetings and taking minutes
  • Various administrative duties, including occasional HR support, paperwork for inductions, staff training etc
  • General update and maintenance of company website/s
  • Assisting with projects as required

Preferable:

Experience working in administration

Personal assistant experience, able to help others and understand priority tasks / deadlines

Salary position, will require commitment of 5 days/38 hours per week, between 8am and 4.30pm (Mon to Fri) in support of the site. May require minimal extra hours at times.
