They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join their dynamic team. In this role, the candidate will manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and contribute to the company's financial health.

The annual salary for the Accountant position is $75,000 to $78,000.

Tasks include:

• Assisting in the development of budgeting and financial reporting policies.

• Preparing financial reports for presentation to executives, shareholders, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.

• Carrying out financial analyses and audits, and providing recommendations on business acquisitions, mergers, capital raising, suspected financial misconduct, insolvency matters, and taxation.

• Analysing income, expenses, and operational costs to evaluate financial performance.

• Verifying the accuracy and regulatory compliance of financial statements.

• Offering tax and financial advice related to business planning, operations, and structures.

• Completing and lodging tax returns for individuals and organisations.

• Coordinating with banks and brokers to set up and manage financial arrangements.

• Implementing and maintaining accounting systems, including advising on suitable computer-based solutions.

• Overseeing internal control procedures to ensure financial integrity.

• Evaluating cash flow projections and assess financial risks tied to capital investment initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience.

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree or a higher qualification.
