About Us

DSL Pacific is a growing Australian agricultural trading company, specialising in the export of grains and pulses—such as lentils, chickpeas, wheat, canola, and barley—to key global markets. We support international food security programs and proudly deliver high-quality Australian produce worldwide.

We are currently seeking a qualified Accountant to join our Adelaide team. This full-time position is suited for someone with strong technical skills, sound judgement, and an eagerness to contribute to a fast-paced export environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and superannuation obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with ATO, ASIC, and relevant financial regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes and assist with management reporting.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
  • Liaise with financial institutions as needed.
  • Review and approve accounts payable/receivable transactions.
  • Assist with financial modelling, budgeting, cash flow and forecasting.
  • Oversee bookkeeping where applicable.
  • Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA or CA qualification or working towards strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in Xero or similar software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
