About the Role

Ramboll is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contaminated Land Auditor Assistant to join our team in North Sydney. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced environmental professionals and contribute to high-profile contaminated land projects. You will support our accredited auditors in conducting environmental assessments, compliance reviews, and remediation strategies for a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and review of environmental site assessments, audit reports, and remediation strategies.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret environmental data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Support the contaminated land audit process by compiling and organising documentation.
- Liaise with project teams, regulators, and stakeholders to facilitate effective environmental audits.
- Conduct site visits to assist in audits, field inspections, and sampling activities.
- Stay updated on local and national contaminated land regulations and guidelines.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment, site remediation, or environmental auditing.
- Familiarity with Australian contaminated land regulations, guidelines, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with environmental data analysis and GIS software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
