**About this opportunity**
Reporting directly to the NDIS Manager, this role sits as part of the broader NDIS team who are passionate and committed to delivering high quality auditing services to our clients working toward certification. This role will also see you interacting with the broader NDIS contractor team and the Executive Manager of Citation Certification.
The NDIS Lead Auditor is required to contribute to the provision of quality services through effectively completing NDIS Audits with our client group. Working autonomously and in a team environment, this role offers the opportunity to be autonomous by planning your schedule of activities each week whilst you demonstrate commitment, loyalty, and an ability to work as a team member in accordance with our practices.
**A typical day in this role will include**:
- Schedule, plan, and execute Lead Auditor activities
- Audit clients against the NDIS Practice Standards with competence, impartiality and accuracy
- Achieve monthly and quarterly certification and auditing targets, as set by management
- Proactively manage tasks and assist on company objectives
- Assist with ad-hoc NDIS Pillar and company-wide projects
- Assist with training and development of new auditors, as required
- Lead Auditor Qualifications Quality Management
- NDIS Commission AQA training
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS industry and/or persons with a disability
- Previous auditing experience
- High attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in writing and analysing business reports for compliance purposes
- A proven ability to build positive and professional relationships with our clients
- Genuine interest in building the development of skills and experience in the NDIS auditing space
- Passion to drive change and make a difference
