**Internal Auditor State Government**

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Assist with the development of high-quality management reports and key insights
- Assist and carry out tasks such as: - management action follow-up monitoring, coordination, desktop review
- assist in tracking, analysing and reporting on the status of the audit plan, provide periodic update of the audit methodology documents
- Assist in preparing various high-quality correspondence, draft briefings, reports, spreadsheet analysis
- Conduct any audit or review of strategic, operational and information technology management systems
- Assist with financial and procurement related activities, work closely with the Principal Auditor to complete special projects

**Qualification and Experiences you need**:

- Strong audit experience in an accounting firm or experience performing operational audits, compliance reviews and assurance work
- Knowledge of relevant professional accounting and auditing standards and an understanding of government policies, procedures, legislative and regulatory frameworks
- Ability to partner with key stakeholders to achieve a common goal
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to present information in a simplified, concise, and relatable format both verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated experience in using audit management systems and tools
