Job Description

- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders and team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and prioritise requirements.
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of product increments.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions for improvements.
- Provide regular updates on product progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with public sector standards and regulations throughout the product lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Product Owner should have:

- Previous experience in a product ownership or similar role, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to translate business needs into technical requirements effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira or similar project management software.
- A passion for contributing to impactful projects within the public sector.
