Senior Director, Ministerial Services Unit Full-time Temporary Details: The Justice and community Safety Directorate is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to fill the role of the Senior Director, Ministerial Services Unit (MSU). This is a rewarding leadership role responsible for a wide range of responsibilities, including driving a positive people-first culture within the team and directorate, providing exemplary client services to staff across the directorate and government, and managing directorate government business actions in the Cabinet, ACT Legislative Assembly and Ministerial Support spaces. The Senior Director works closely with the directorate executive, business units and ministerial offices to respond to emerging business needs and must have well developed skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship management. If this sounds like you, do not miss out on the opportunity to fill one of the more rewarding and privileged roles in the ACT Government corporate landscape Eligibility/Other requirements: - To be eligible for permanent or temporary employment within the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident or hold a valid work visa. - If an officer no longer holds a visa that permits them to work in Australia, their employment with the ACT Public Service (ACTPS) will be terminated. Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. This position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
