Your Impact

As a HR Advisor, you’ll manage a diverse caseload of people matters across the employee lifecycle, providing end-to-end case management and trusted advice to leaders and team members.

Drawing on your extensive ER expertise, you’ll guide complex issues such as performance management, investigations, and grievances—ensuring outcomes are fair, consistent, and aligned with Goodstart’s values. You’ll apply strong knowledge of employment legislation, enterprise agreements, and policy to deliver pragmatic, risk-aware advice that enables leaders to act with confidence.

Working closely with stakeholders across all levels, you’ll balance multiple perspectives, influence decision-making, and build strong, trust-based relationships. As part of a national HR team, you’ll contribute to a positive, inclusive culture, simplify complexity, and create Amazing Goodstarter Experiences every day.

You’ll bring to the table

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Law, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated customer service mindset that keeps the customer at the centre of what you do
- Highly efficient with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust style to meet audience requirements
- Flexible and able to operate in a dynamic environment
- Broad generalist experience across all elements of the employee lifecycle
- Current Working with Children Check for the State or Territory residing in
