We’re excited to be recruiting for a Workforce Planning Specialist role within our Moorabbin Head Office to enable you to utilise your strong analytical mind and deep understanding of people costs to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic HR environment.
As the Workforce Planning – People Cost Management specialist, you’ll be at the intersection of finance and HR, delivering high-quality reporting and modelling of workforce forecasts. You’ll provide financial insights related to salaries, benefits, headcount forecasting, and support strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- People Planning & Analysis

- Monitor actuals vs. budget and provide variance analysis.
- Support workforce planning with financial modelling and scenario analysis.

- Payroll & Compensation
- Manage payroll vendor relationships and controls.
- Provide backup payroll support.
- Liaise with HQ and APAC Total Rewards to implement compensation and benefits programs.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, with HR exposure.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; BI tools experience (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS and ERP systems, having experience Workday is a big plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, resilient, and tech-savvy.
Why This Role Stands Out

It’s ideal for someone who thrives on data, understands the financial drivers behind workforce decisions, and enjoys partnering across departments to shape strategic outcomes. If you’re looking to apply your finance expertise in a people-focused context, this is your chance to shine.
No candidate will meet every single desired skill and qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you
