As part of our ongoing focus on quality and compliance, we’re looking for a Senior Consultant – Scheme Compliance to play a key role in strengthening our compliance and assurance practices across the organisation.

Job Description

About the Role

In this role, you’ll support the Scheme Compliance Lead by providing expert advice, conducting quality reviews, identifying training needs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll act as a point of escalation for complex operational issues and help design tools, frameworks, and training to support scheme compliance across all teams.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure operational documentationincluding procedures, training materials, and templatesalignwith scheme rules and policies.

Conduct reviews of compliance and administrative decisions to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Identify compliance gaps or risks and recommend corrective actions.

Assess team understanding of compliance processes through audits and feedback.

Partner with Learning & Development to design and deliver targeted training programs.

Support engagement with internal stakeholders on scheme assurance matters.

Contribute to the development of tools and frameworks that enhance scheme compliance.

Act as an escalation point for complex queries relating to interpretation of the Act, Rules, and operational procedures.

Provide day-to-day administrative or project support as needed .

You’re detail-oriented and analytical, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical solutions. You value continuous improvement, knowledge-sharing, and working closely with others to achieve high-quality outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

Demonstrated experience in compliance, quality assurance, or process improvement within a regulated environment.

Strong understanding of scheme rules, governance, or regulatory frameworks.

Experience conducting audits, quality reviews, or compliance assessments.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence across teams.

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organisational skills.

Ability to balance independent work with collaboration in a team environment.

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Risk, or a related field (preferred).

Experience in the construction industry or a related sector (advantageous).
