With offices in over 70 countries, we’re represented in all major regions across both mature and emerging markets.**About the Role**We’re seeking a highly skilled **Test Laboratory and Compliance Manager** to lead our product testing, compliance, and prototyping functions in Melbourne.In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee laboratory operations, ensure compliance with ISO17025 and NATA requirements, and support the development and validation of new and existing products to meet Australian and international standards.Key responsibilities include:* Managing the day-to-day operation of the Test Laboratory, including safety, compliance, and workflow.* Coordinating prototype manufacture and internal/external product testing.* Ensuring compliance with ISO17025, NATA, and EMC standards.* Overseeing calibration, test registers, and compliance reporting.* Liaising with external testing facilities, including Fire Testing laboratories.* Leading a team of technicians and driving continuous improvement initiatives.* Expanding laboratory capabilities to support future product development.**About You**You’re a technically minded leader with a passion for precision and product integrity. You take pride in maintaining high standards, guiding teams effectively, and driving process improvements that enhance quality and performance.What you’ll bring:* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.* 10+ years’ experience managing testing or prototyping facilities.* Proven experience maintaining ISO17025 and NATA accreditations.* Strong understanding of Australian and international product standards.* Excellent leadership, planning, and analytical skills.* Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.**Why Join Us**We’re part of a global company that opens doors — literally and figuratively.
