An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic Laboratory Assistant to join our Austin Health Pathology team. This position is based in our Laboratory at Mildura Base Public Hospital. We have a permanent part time position available. The successful applicant will be required to participate in the 7 day roster as required.

The Laboratory Assistant is expected to efficiently and accurately process specimens and requests for pathology testing, including data entry into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), and to prepare specimens for testing by the laboratory staff according to laboratory protocols and accreditation requirements.
