The Opportunity
Join an ASX-listed employer of choice following an exciting period of transformation and growth. A permanent full-time opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team based in Melbourne’s north-east.
You’ll be part of a close-knit payroll team, delivering accurate and timely payroll services across weekly and fortnightly cycles for a diverse workforce, including salaried staff, using ADP.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Payroll Manager your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Preparing and processing weekly and fortnightly payrolls for 300+ employees
- Entering new starters and leavers
- Maintaining leave records and adjustments
- Responding to payroll‑related queries
- Uploading the bank fileProviding excellent customer service to site-based employees and internal stakeholders
- Supporting superannuation management and compliance
- Supporting payroll reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- 4+ years of end‑to‑end payroll processing experience, ideally in a high‑volume environment
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
- The desire to work in a fast‑paced environment
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Experience working with large payroll software would be highly regarded – ADP, UKG Pro, Kronos, SAP, PayGlobal, etc.
- Available for a full-time permanent role with structured training on-site and a planned relocation to the northern suburbs, offering 1‑day WFH
- Full Australian working rights
