About the Opportunity

As the Virtual Care Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and implementing virtual care initiatives that enhance access, efficiency, and patient outcomes. You will:

- Manage all aspects of project delivery, including planning, resource coordination, and reporting against milestones.

- Engage with stakeholders across the district to implement and support virtual care solutions.

- Analyse data and prepare reports to track progress and inform decision‑making.

- Provide advice and contribute to the development of policies, briefs, and strategic documents.

- Support governance processes through accurate documentation, consultation, and communication.

- Tertiary qualifications in a health‑related, health management, or project management discipline.

- Strong project management experience, including scheduling, planning, and delivery of initiatives.

- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to provide sound advice.

- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.

- Proven organisational ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.

Vaccination and Health Requirements

All NSW Health workers are required to comply with the Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive. This includes:

- Category A positions: Mandatory evidence of protection against specified infectious diseases, including annual influenza vaccination and tuberculosis assessment.

- Category B positions: Vaccination is recommended but not mandatory.

NSW Health strongly recommends all workers stay up to date with COVID‑19 vaccinations as per the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation guidelines. However, COVID‑19 vaccination is not a condition of employment.
