Be responsible for the coordination of internal & external correspondence and papers for the leadership of the Integrity Unit.
The Executive Officer reports to the Executive Director, Integrity Unit, and provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Unit’s Executive Director, Manager and Project Manager, including comprehensive diary and workflow coordination.
The Executive Officer is responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings, workshops and training conducted by Integrity Unit staff, including managing room bookings, resources and catering.
The Integrity Unit deals with complex and sensitive information including in relation to complaints of Gender-based Violence and Sexual Harm, as well as fraud, corruption and other matters. The Executive Officer must operate with discretion and confidentiality, and should be aware that the subject matter may be distressing at times.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated ability to promote the organisational values of integrity, respect, collegiality, excellence and discovery, and a commitment to positively comply with the associated behaviour expectations.
- Extensive experience in providing high level secretarial, administrative and executive support.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and oral communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and relevant information and to produce high quality reports, memos and correspondence.
- Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture.
This position requires a valid National Police Clearance.
