What you’ll be doing:

- Making major contributions to the development of Jagex’s games through audio design, including both the creation and implementation of assets (using existing systems and with assistance from the technical audio team.)

- Specialising in creating sound design content at scale, while also supporting other audio subdisciplines when required (e.g., tech, dialogue, recording, etc.)

- Assisting audio leaders in shaping audio direction and supporting the day-to-day running of the audio team when needed.

- Guiding and inspiring fellow audio creatives, both in-house and external, through mentorship and benchmark-quality work, particularly those who are junior or less integrated into the project.

What we’re looking for:

- A ‘T-Shaped’ Audio Designer with expert-level skills in SFX design, and supporting skills in other game audio subdisciplines (dialogue, tech etc.)

- Exceptional ability to adapt and work iteratively and dynamically in response to feedback and evolving requirements, systems and technology.

- Prior experience (either formal or informal) of successfully mentoring fellow creatives.

- Extensive ‘at-scale’ game audio design experience, on medium-to-large project(s).

- Proven capability working in different creative modes (exploratory, efficient delivery, high-quality polishing, scalable systems etc.) and matching these to the relevant development context (prototyping, expanding scope, shipping etc.)

- Demonstrable experience balancing independence and proactivity with collaboration and contribution to the team’s cohesive and reflexive culture.

- Proficient in the use of game engines and audio implementation tools and systems.
