The Role
Bunbury SHS is seeking an energetic and passionate Design and Technology teacher to join our high performing team.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Deliver engaging curriculum aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Provide students with purposeful learning experiences, developing skills, knowledge and understanding in Technologies.
- Confidently teach across Woodwork and Metalwork; experience in Senior School Design and Technology courses is highly regarded.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with students, colleagues and parents.
- Act as a highly effective team member, contributing to a positive culture of success and motivating students to reach their personal best.
- Link learning with real‑world experiences, ensuring students gain currency for pathways beyond school.
Professional knowledge of instructional skills, theories and tactics, and ability to develop high expectations, will be a focus of curriculum delivery.

Mobility Appointment
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school may elect to undertake this role as a 3‑year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.

Eligibility
- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
