As a Property Operations Analyst, you’ll be embedded within the Group Operational Services Property team, responsible for reporting, data analysis, and change management support to enhance the performance and efficiency of car parking facilities at Mascot and across the Qantas Group. A major focus of this position is leading the optimisation of parking technologies‑driving smarter space usage, improving user experience, and enabling future ready infrastructure.
You’ll build and maintain data systems, conduct detailed reviews, and create dashboards and reports that highlight trends, uncover inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement across Group Property operations. This role supports the long‑term carpark strategy by coordinating impact assessments, managing policy‑based parking allocations, and ensuring compliance with operational guidelines.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver data‑informed recommendations, support strategic initiatives, and integrate new technologies and processes into carpark operations.
Key qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in an analytical or business analysis role
- Tertiary qualification in business analytics and/or project management desirable (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in the delivery or support of projects within a large organisation across diverse and multiple operational areas
- Experience in providing business analysis support to multiple simultaneous projects
- Experience in implementing contemporary customer experience initiatives
- Experience in developing analytic insights to shape and influence ways of working
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster networking between various areas and departments
- Self‑motivated, committed, and able to work independently
- Flexible to change priorities in allocated work to meet project deadlines
- Understanding of financial and operational issues, risk assessment, and computerised information systems
- Understanding of project management methodologies (agile and waterfall)
- Advanced PC skills, especially in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and project management tools
Key accountabilities
- Driving and supporting operational efficiency initiatives using data tools and stakeholder engagement
- Providing operational reporting and actionable insights through dashboards and reports
- Supporting change management and communication programs for new initiatives
- Supporting end‑to‑end delivery of property‑related projects, including planning, execution, and post‑implementation review
- Liaising with external partners and service providers to ensure seamless carpark operations
- Ensuring compliance with Group Management Systems and safety policies
