About the role

Hudson is partnering with a leading state government department to recruit a Project Support Officer to assist the delivery of Queensland’s boating infrastructure maintenance and capital works program.

Key responsibilities

- Provide project and administrative support across maintenance and capital works streams.

- Maintain and track project schedules, milestones and deliverables.

- Prepare and review project documentation, meeting minutes and financial summaries.

- Support procurement and contract administration, including purchase orders and tracking deliverables.

- Assist with project expenditure monitoring and financial reconciliation.

- Maintain accurate records and document control in accordance with departmental standards.

- Coordinate meetings, workshops and site visits, including logistics and reporting.

- Contribute to governance reporting and continuous improvement across the program.

About you

You will ideally have:

- 3+ years’ experience in project or program administration within a government or infrastructure setting.

- Working knowledge of tools such as MS Project, 3PCM, SAP or similar.

- Understanding of project governance, procurement and financial tracking processes.

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Familiarity with TMR or other Queensland Government systems (advantageous).
