About the role

This position offers you the opportunity to work in a truly unique property within an exceptional team environment that fosters training, development, and career progression. Our room attendants are a key member of the Housekeeping team, responsible for the cleaning operations of the hotel. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Room Attendant who takes pride in their work, has attention to detail, and can deliver high standards of cleanliness.

Within this role, you will report directly to the Executive Housekeeping Manager and will be responsible for duties including:

1. Cleaning guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and corridors to the hotel's high standards.
2. Ensuring all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities.
3. Refilling, replacing, and storing towels and linen correctly.
4. Reporting maintenance requirements.
5. Reporting any lost property following hotel procedures.
6. Maintaining, using, and storing equipment correctly.
7. Using appropriate chemicals for cleaning, ensuring safe work practices.
8. Following all WH&S policies and procedures.

About You

The ability and flexibility to work in a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.

- A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction.
- Initiative to ensure positive and efficient interactions with guests.
- A good eye for detail with previous cleaning, customer service, or hospitality experience.
- Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and presentation.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Previous experience with chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
- Experience in a 4-star hotel is desirable.
- Legal right to work in Australia.
- Willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
