The Opportunity

This is a twelve-month full-time opportunity based in East Perth, and it couldn’t come at a more exciting time. We’re redesigning the way technology supports the Perth Mint - rebuilding architecture from the ground up, solving long standing business challenges, and creating smarter, more connected systems that shape how our customers experience everything we offer.

You’ll be stepping into a fast-moving environment where legacy meets innovation. From Power BI dashboards that bring clarity to complexity, to Azure integrations that streamline operations, you’ll lead the design and delivery of scalable solutions that span across multiple business units and align with our long-term strategy.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation - translating needs into practical, future ready designs, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring every solution fits within our broader standards. Whether it’s refining reference models, facilitating governance, or crafting design artefacts, you’ll be the anchor that keeps transformation grounded in purpose and precision.

This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, embraces responsibility, and sees opportunity where others see obstacles. You’ll be expected to lead with clarity, uphold compliance, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

About You

You’re a thoughtful, tech minded architect with a strong foundation in IT and a drive to build systems that don’t just work - but work seamlessly. You’ve spent time in cloud environments, understand architectural frameworks like TOGAF, and know your way around the Microsoft ecosystem, Dynamics365, CRM, POS, Azure Integration Services, and Power BI.

You’re not just technically capable - you’re emotionally intelligent, commercially aware, and deeply collaborative. You know how to engage stakeholders, balance competing priorities, and translate complex problems into solutions. You’ve modelled to ArchiMate standards, and if you’ve worked with FinTech or have a strong grasp of data privacy and security design, that’s a bonus.

You bring curiosity, clarity, and a quiet confidence. You listen before you build. You challenge the status quo with care. And you deliver with purpose.
