Overview

This role delivers high-quality technical, production and design input within the Design team, focusing on landscape, built form, public realm design and placemaking.

Responsibilities

- Supporting local and national Design teams in delivering small to medium projects across sectors including urban regeneration, infrastructure, greenfield developments, open space, retail and commercial projects.
- Contributing to all stages of the design process from site analysis and master planning through to documentation, tendering and construction administration.
- Applying knowledge of landscape architecture, construction processes, and relevant Australian Standards to produce high-quality design outcomes.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and liaising with clients, consultants and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Assisting with fee proposals, tracking project budgets, and providing updates to senior team members.
- Promoting the firm’s services and supporting business development initiatives.

About you / Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, ideally in private practice or with local council or government
- Understanding of design principles and methods and ability to apply them in the urban environment
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino and/or other 3D modelling software
- Advanced skills in relevant components of the Adobe Suite
- Ability to manage client priorities and expectations; adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong graphical communication skills using digital and hand-drawn formats
