GHD Design is a global design company operating through the GHD network of studios and offices with a 30+ year presence in WA. This provides a unique opportunity to leverage the depth of our geographic reach while maintaining local knowledge, infusion, commitment, and character. In WA, our team includes Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design and Urban Design, delivering projects across 10 different market sectors .

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Contributing to projects with supervision from a Technical Director of Architecture, liaising with Clients and mentoring team members on the go.
• Contributing to project delivery strategies, working briefs and budget.
• Collaboratively designing and documenting projects across different typologies.
• Contribute to the technical performance on projects.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor degree in Architecture is a must.
• Registration with the Institute of Architects is preferred, but we can also assist you in becoming registered.
• 2-5 + years relevant experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Architectural design and documentation skills covering a broad range of project types and budgets.
• Excellent verbal and graphic presentation skills.
• Sound working knowledge and understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
• Sound Specification & Contract writing skills related to the architectural practice.
• Proficient in the use of Word and Excel.
• Proficient in the use and application of AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Understanding of Microsoft Project, Abode Indesign, Photoshop preferred.
• Interest in business development.
