About the Opportunity
Our Organisational and Effectiveness and Culture team is seeking a Manager Business Intelligence to shape EnergyCo’s workforce intelligence and decision-making capability. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of analytics, dashboards and reporting frameworks that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. Your work will support the Board, executives and people leaders in workforce planning, performance monitoring, financial forecasting and project delivery. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to drive business improvement, streamline processes and embed data-driven solutions that enhance organisational capability, improve employee experience and deliver on government and agency priorities.
About You
You are a highly skilled analyst with a proven ability to transform complex workforce data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. You have expertise in:
- Navigating ambiguity—solving cross-functional business problems using incomplete or inconsistent datasets to deliver clear, actionable insights.
- Workforce analytics—supporting strategic workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, organisational development and compliance, acting as a trusted partner to enable EnergyCo priorities.
- Power BI—data modelling for large/complex datasets, and performance tuning for enterprise-scale dashboards.
- Advanced Excel and SQL proficiency.
You bring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate technical data in a way that resonates with Boards, Executives, People Leaders and non-technical audiences. You will operate with autonomy, manage competing priorities and ensure your advice is accurate and reliable. You balance attention to detail with a big-picture view to ensure your work adds value across the organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience
