Business Development Manager

Customer facing critical role with new business responsibilities.
What you will enjoy doing
- You will identify new business opportunities within existing geographical boundaries and win and secure profitable competitor customers as per branch budget targets
- Target and increase tonnage against monthly budgets is required in this role
- Complete and submit monthly reports on due dates
- You will report on all product categories in relevant branch in regards to margin, volume and competitor activity
- n addition you will establish and maintain data on the customer information base, via appropriate EWS screens
- Develop trade allies and ensure they are serviced
- You will also conduct cylinder safety-training sessions for new customers as required
- Develop and maintain records of opposition customers is part of your role
- further you will liaise with branch and transport functions to ensure desirable service levels are achieved
- Co-ordinate and co-operate with Customer Service Staff where necessary to achieve goals and targets for respective areas
- Monitor sign work, promotions, advertising, etc. to ensure that Elgas logo, trademark and other company identifications are presented consistent with company guidelines and exposure is maximised
What makes you great
- You have two to three (2-3) years industrial gas field sales experience
- Clean and valid driver's license is required for this role
- Strong sales experience is necessary
- You are results orientated
- Negotiation skills suit your profile
- you have excellent oral and written communication skills
