This is a hands‑on yet strategic position, ideal for a finance professional who loves variety and collaboration. You'll lead the management reporting function, partner closely with commercial and operational leaders, and drive process improvements across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Management

- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the Pronto accounting system.

- Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

- Reconcile intra‑group transactions and balances.

- Analyse and monitor transactions across internal projects.

- Compile data and calculations for government compliance (Income Tax, Payroll Tax, FBT, ABS).

- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register for accounting and taxation purposes.

- Approve purchase orders, sales orders, and bank transfers.

Business Support

- Partner with senior finance, head office, and operational teams to provide insights and financial support.

- Conduct ad‑hoc reviews and analysis of key operational activities such as inventory and WIP.

Reporting & Budgeting

- Coordinate month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and lead budgeting and forecasting cycles.

- Provide clear analysis and commentary to support strategic decision‑making.

Continuous Improvement

- Support ERP system enhancements and implementation projects.

- Identify and lead process automation and efficiency initiatives.

Audits

- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the audit process, ensuring compliance and readiness.

What We’re Looking For

- Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/CPA mandatory).

- Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within Mining Services or Manufacturing.

- Systems: Proficiency in Pronto (Pronto Exp essential) and advanced Excel skills.

- Attributes:

- Excellent technical accounting and analytical ability.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Proven experience in driving process and system improvements.

- High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem‑solving capability.
