FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading IT consultancy that partners with clients to bridge the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. Since 2003, we've been delivering high-value ICT services across government, finance, telecommunications, and enterprise sectors. FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Telecommunications client on a key transformation engagement.

Responsibilities

- Analyse and document requirements for the mis-selling detection and monitoring project
- Support the creation of risk-decisioning models to strengthen consumer protection
- Drive improvement in compliance, early detection, and root cause analysis
- Define and document risk metric reporting to identify patterns of sales misconduct
- Work within a compliance and regulatory project environment on business-critical systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document business and data requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation adhering to regulatory compliance and audit standards

Key Skills & Experience

- An end-to-end Senior Business Analyst, with experience working in CMS, consumer protection OR customer complaints handling related projects
- Proven experience in a compliance and regulatory project environments
- Experience in defining business strategy or strategic roadmaps
- Experience in data-driven projects (CRM/PEGA data flows, unified data platforms)
- Experience enabling compliance reporting from existing workflow tools
- Proficiency in project management tools including Jira, Confluence, and Visio/Signavio

What/'s On Offer?

- Initial 6 months contract, with a view to extend on a multi-year transformation project
- Located in Sydney
- Hybrid work mode - 3 days a week in the office but highly desirable if you/'re open to going in 4 days a week.
