The School

Willetton Senior High School (SHS) is a large WA school (student population >2700, ~230 teaching staff, ~145 support staff). The school emphasises high-quality learning experiences, care, respect and excellence, and offers selective programs in Basketball and Gifted and Talented Education (GATE). The school values the Willo Way and provides opportunities for personal and professional growth for staff.

The successful applicant will join a collaborative Arts team and may contribute to drama teaching in 2026. A strong performance culture and high-quality student events are valued.

Role

We are seeking a teacher energetic and passionate about Dance who can:

- Plan and deliver high-quality learning programs across Years 7–12, with a focus on Performing Arts in Senior School.
- Contribute to a strong performance culture and collaborate with the Arts team to deliver high-quality student performance events.
- Be willing to teach Drama in 2026 and contribute to other Arts contexts as required.

Demonstrated curriculum knowledge and teaching expertise in Performing Arts is desirable.

- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment

- Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number from the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start
