Poseidon Primary School (PS) is situated in the northern suburbs of Heathridge. The school was opened in February 1986 and is described as a city school with a country feel. Our vision is Creating Opportunities Together and our purpose is to provide an inclusive and collaborative school community where all children feel safe, motivated and challenged to learn and achieve the skills, knowledge and attributes to prepare them to be future ready citizens.

The Role

We seek dedicated primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with parents, students and colleagues. The role emphasizes whole-child development, a positive school culture, professional growth, collaboration and evidence-based decision-making. A willingness to adopt Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and transparent classroom management is valued.

Eligibility

To work with us you must:

  • hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed later for shortlisted applicants.
