The successful applicant will be an experienced or emerging leader and dedicated professional, able to demonstrate through their past experiences:
- A genuine appreciation and commitment to Performing Arts (Drama and Dance) and its promotion and growth in a vibrant learning context.
- Knowledge of contemporary educational leadership principles and practices, with a focus on leading high performing teams.
- Provide, coordinate and direct performance opportunities, including the College Production.
- Maintain the high standards of the College, encouraging students to develop a love of creativity through Performing Arts.
- An ability to show a thorough knowledge of contemporary practices in the Performing Arts Learning Area.
- An ability to develop within students a sense of respect for themselves and their talents through Performing Arts.
- An experienced classroom practitioner, with a commitment that focuses upon academic excellence and wellbeing.
- An excellent oral and written communicator, with advanced technology skills and experience of communication within a Learning Management System (SEQTA).
- Experienced in management of student events and functions.
- A confident administrator, proficient at record keeping and excellent time management.
- An ability to demonstrate an educational vision consistent with the College mission.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and personal growth.
- Supportive of the Catholic ethos and the Presentation traditions and practices of the College.
