ERP Tech Lead

This ERP Teach Lead will function as a lead within SAABs ERP team, responsible for the support and maintenance of the core ERP system. The role is responsible for oversight and governance of all technical operations of the ERP (and associated core functional systems), including but not limited to; minor and major upgrades, configurations and changes to, enhancements and addons, customisations, users requests and management. The role also plays a key part in defining the ongoing strategy and roadmap of the ERP, aligning to both IT and organisational goals and strategies.
Further, the successful candidate will:
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and lead solution development to business problems
- Provide thought leadership in setting the technical direction of the ERP system
- Support and administer the core ERP system, including monitoring, cycling, and troubleshooting
- Support ERP upgrades and patching
- Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service and incident management system
- Create and maintain technical documentation of the ERP to support both solution representation and support artefacts
- Govern technical changes to the ERP system in alignment with broader IT change protocols.
- Provide technical guidance to integration developers and team members
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office, 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
- Solid experience in the IFS ERP system including functional and technical
- Solid experience configuring and administering IFS core system components and functional modules including but not limited to; user provisioning, permissions and managements, IFS customisations - creation, registration and maintenance, metadata management, custom fields etc
- Solid working experience with database technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft
- Skills and or ability in in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, procedures, triggers, packages, functions etc • Knowledge and understanding of IFS API capability
- Experience with application deployment and release management.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in one or more of; defence, manufacturing or an engineering environment
- Experience or understanding of Agile methodologies
As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to baseline/NV1/NV2 level or have the ability to gain one. Information including past and present nationality and citizenship may be requested to check eligibility for access to materials controlled under various export control regimes, including ITAR.
