Software Developer Tech Lead (.NET)

Job Description

From Barcelona, you will join Germany-based Corporate Start-Up B. Braun New Ventures, which is taking a leading role in the digital transformation of healthcare. With a young and fast-growing team, we develop solutions to automate medical procedures across various business areas. Our goal is to augment caregivers’ eyes, hands, and decision-making with sensors, robotics, and artificial intelligence.

Duties and Responsibilities

- You will be a key member of the cloud platform team and work on existing and new platform services that provide the foundation for a range of applications, from secure IoT connections to modern, scalable web applications
- You work in a dynamic and agile team collaborating with other software developers as well as with software architects, system engineers, UX engineers, quality engineers and product owners
- You use state-of-the-art technologies (such as microservices and cloud-based solutions) to develop new products
- You participate in a new software development team and drive the quality of implementation and documentation through code and document reviews, release documentation, and continuous improvement of the software development process
- You offer mentorship and support to junior software developers, helping them to grow and develop professionally
- You are a passionate .NET programmer with several years of industry experience
- You have mentored and inspired development teams to deliver beyond expectations as a Tech Lead
- You have a strong background in cloud-based application design and development using cloud providers, particularly Microsoft Azure
- You possess a deep understanding of cloud-native architecture principles, patterns, and best practices
- You have a working knowledge of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases
- You have experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, as well as common infrastructure-as-code tools, enabling you to efficiently deploy, manage, and automate cloud-based applications and infrastructure
- You are hands-on experienced with Agile development processes (such as SCRUM)
- You are a proactive, results-oriented and customer-centric personality with analytical and problem-solving skills
- You work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, encourage mutual support and collaboration also in a virtual environment
- You are self-motivated and have a hands-on mentality
- You have a passion for technology and a desire to continuously learn and grow
- You stay productive and capable of acting in critical situations
- You communicate clearly and responsibly in English. Spanish and German are nice to have
